1966 history This is a truck from Fulton county in Georgia. I did not go down and get it, I found it in the local paper. The guy who advertised it in the paper is the one who brought it up from down south. When I got it, it was in fairly sad condition. Some of the electrical worked, the engine ran. The guy drove it around his yard. Sometime throughout its history, its original engine was replaced with a 351W and an FMX transmission. For the shifting of the transmission, It had dual exhaust connected to stock exhaust manifolds.

The body looked like it was spray painted with cheap black paint, and they did a poor job. There was paint all over the windshield and rear window. The final result on the outside of the body looked alright, but it definitely needed a new paint job.

The interior had good points and bad. The seat and its cover were in good shape, but there was “carpeting” on the floor, a hole where the radio went, and aluminum foil wrapped around most of the fuses(unsafe). One of the windows couldn’t be rolled up or down, a plastic retainer on the mechanism was broken.

Unfortunately, I cant find any of the pictures I took when I first brought the truck home.
